[Milsurplus] Mackay 3007 receiver

I carried out a heavy beast today that  I will be taking to a hamfest 
Saturday.
It's a Mackay 3007. Seems to be an improved version of another basic
Mackay receiver, the 3001 maybe, and nothing like the 3010. It's a
basic receiver with 3 LF bands and 3 HF bands, the only thing out of the
real ordinary for a standard (freighter class) receiver is in "CW SHARP"
the 1700 kc/s IF converts down to a 70 kc/s IF.

Anyway, the thing has a label on front panel

DNC5 (B)  ART. 6223.3 (D)-€

I wonder if this accounting code means anything to anyone?
To me it vaguely suggests RCN, but that's only a guess.
