[Milsurplus] Pi- Matching Network: When?

I have the manual for the Meissner 150-B transmitter.
It has a date of Oct 8, 1942 on the cover.
The output circuit is a true Pi-net.
Earliest one I remember seeing commercially.
There well may be others.
