In getting this 4-250 rig which appears to have been from the FAA in its past or maybe even the CAA, who knows, i have run across a couple of items i would like to find.
1st is a plug, NAF No 212938-1. Looks like the traditional PJ-068 but thinner. I know i tried both and this NAF one is the only thing that fits into the jack on the front of the panel. The plug i have is currently on one of the old RS-38 Mic's and i really don't want to disassemble the mic or the cord. In other words i'd like to keep those items original. The plug please, just the plug.
2nd is a meter 0-50 or 0-100 ma, black, fits in a 2 1/16 or 2 1/8 inch hole with attachement screw holes in a triangle pattern with one at the top being what another fellow said was TDC. Top Dead Center.... Meter face reads Signal Corp IS-22 and then of course the scale.
Have another ham with a feeler out for the same meter so this is just a broader broadcast.
This transmitter has been a real struggle. No documentation came with it so i've been pulling the chassis units out and making drawings along with ohming out the various wires. 100TH modulators driving the 4-250. Xtal osc deck with aux input available for a VFO (selectable with multi position switch on front panel. Just yesterday i got it to make RF finally. Now to get audio thru it. Still got work to do though but its really a nice rig in a 7 ft rack. Pictures on request if you think you may have seen something like it somewhere.
