First happy holidays to all !
I had some spare time was investigating ANL options to tack into the
BC-348-R - previously hacked. No not going to add a panel switch.
So reading up on ANL circuits. In my web searches I found some
references to QST articles on the BC-348 that I would like to have some
copies of:
QST Servicing crystal filter for the BC-348?
QST Automatic Noise limiter for the BC-348?
Not sure of the dates?

Now back to my ANL circuits; the BC-348-R has the AVC/AGC circuit feed
by #38 a 75 pF cap to a separate anode VT-93, 6B8. My reading indicates
that AVC/AGC circuit could be used to suppress noise; but if that signal
were delayed by 90 degrees this would not be a good option.

Questions set:
       1. The 75pF would limit the frequency available to the AVC/AGC
detector to > 20Khz ? 2.319k Ohms @ 915Khz
       2. Does this capacitor #38, 75pF, delay the signal to the
AVC/AGC detector by 90 Degrees when compared to the Audio detector path?
       3.  If the answer to 2. is affirmative, signal is delayed, then;
Any noise audio clipping will have to be done in the Audio path to
adequately clip any pop's ?

Ho Ho Ho -
Hutch
