Its quite possible with a metallic time domain reflectometer you could 
see any deviations from nominal coax impedance of 50 ohms, when the 
cable is pinched or squeezed. . In such a 50 ohm system the Tek 1502 
could resolve deviations of 0.1 ohms.  Of as much concern may be the 
voltage breakdown at the point where it was squeezed.
