[Milsurplus] Higgins PT Boat Whip Antenna?

Actually, it is an MP-48, which was pre-War until maybe early 1942.  The 
later and much more common MP-48-A is similar and functionally interchangable 
but the only parts that interchange are the nut and washers that are used to 
attach the mast base to a hull or mounting bracket.  The most obvious 
difference is the binding post on the top forging beside where the mast sections 
screw in.  The MP-48-A had a tapped hole for screw and ring lug.  In either 
case, the internal W-128 run was used and the terminal or screw and lug were 
not used with MF and HF sets.

Also, you can only free stand 15' of mast sections.  More than that 
requires a guy set which would not be practical on a PT boat.
