In all likelyhood, they are for replacing the dynamotor in the T-195
transmitter. No bearings and brushes to tend, far less inrush current
on startup, but the transmitter is still almost as noisy. Despite what
it may sound like on the air, a T-195 user is probably not catching up
on vacuuming while on the air!
