[Milsurplus] Ammeter design and construction

I have several RF ammeters here with internal thermocouples. One made by 
Weston says calibration is within 2% up to 65Mhz, which is pretty 
accurate for an analog meter. Among the ways to calibrate them using a 
wideband scope to measure the peak voltage and a known non inductive 
load is one way. When tuning a random length wire for maximum "smoke" 
the absolute amperes aren't too important, although I doubt the FCC 
would approve.
