[Milsurplus] U-505 inspection pix in Bermuda (not Trinidad)

Here is an interesting photo collection of the inspection of the U-505 when it arrived at the Royal Navy Dockyard in Bermuda after its capture. It spent the war there (in disguise & under armed guard), not Trinidad. Note the interesting closeup shots of the omnidirectional receiving antenna for the radar warning receiver.

There is an interesting memorial to the U-505 in the restored main house in the Dockyard but the library in Hamilton had nothing on this sub. (I have a bigger collection of books on the U-505 than they do!)
Intterestingly, Bermuda was a very safe place to keep the U-505 as all German nationals on the island were interned for the duration.
