[Milsurplus] BC348 backlash

The 348 I had , had severe backlash and slop on the dial. It was due to 
worn spring loaded gears. The gears were not fulling meshing and all the 
friction developed on one side so they were like a set of teeth with 
overbite. I got a machinist to machine a new set of gears and that cured 
the problem. By the time you remove the glyptal sealant over the Bristol 
keyed screws you keep your fingers crossed all will work out. Mine did.
