[Milsurplus] UK Surplus?

So it looks like I will be spending considerable time in the UK during the last 
couple of months of this year.  I was wondering what the surplus scene is like 
there, any places I must visit?  Places to avoid?  I'm interested in radio, test 
equipment and mil general surplus gear.  I'll be in areas around Wooler, 
Newcastle, Darlington and Maltby but will have a car.
