Hi,

I don't know who will be around to deal with my leftovers. I have
started getting rid of things (to others who actually want them) but
there will still be leftovers. I intend to play radios right up to the
end. I am documenting what pieces go with which other pieces so that the
SW-3 stays with it's set of coils for example. And some clues about
where/how to list the leftovers along with some idea of it's value. Some
of the "stuff" will be recommended free to good home for shipping costs.
I am hoping a nearby radio club will help with some of that. The fact
remains..once I am gone those leftovers are on their own. They may well
end up in the landfill.

I have been enjoying pretty good health as my age advances. I have been
caring for and helping some other older people with help around their
homes, trips to doctors, even some personal care. Invariably that lasts
only a short time and then they are *gone*. Even with "directions and
instructions" they leave behind for their families - much of their
leftovers go to the landfill.

Just enjoy your stuff while you are here to do so. Do what you can to
help your family move your leftovers along. And then just go on with
your life.

I hope all of that nice gear does find a new home. At least they are
trying. Maybe we will see it again on some kind of bay.
