When I was a kid ,5-6 yrs old, we could buy a box kite and a 250 ft roll of string for $0.20. One time my Dad hooked six kites in tandom and we used a fishing pole to fly it from.Had the pole bent right over like we had a Marlin on it! Finally the string broke. We found one kite 3 miles away in a tree.

These are great kites. You need leather gloves to hold the string. They
ly very well.
