Yes Kurt!  they have a small spark coil    a mica   stack  cap  and a gap  
and outside the box  there is a helix  on the  lid  you can tap off   for  
tuning!  they  are  cool and  neat and easy to take to a classroom for show 
and  tell!  you can  view the finned spark gap thru a mica window!\
 
this is another fellows  site but  it is like  this....I  need to  find a 
ley with a correct contact  date on it
