I built one a few years ago.



I could not find any blued razor blade so I wound up taking a regular

one and heating it up with a plumber torch and map gas.



After heating until it was orange and quenching it in cold water I sanded it

and let it sit for a couple days.



Worked fine.



I have some pictures at home I can send this evening if anyone is interested.



I build mine on a piece of wood not in a canteen.
