Certainly through the mid 1960s parts of the Back Bay were DC. I don't
know about the RS store on Commonwealth Ave. It was probably on AC. There
were college girls dorms there and some appliances blew out.
I will inquire.
BTW, the DC was to do with the trolleys, I think.
