John:
Highly likely if they were the Depot Maintenance for a particular item which was also in A. F. inventory. In answer to your second question, SAAMA has not existed for several decades now, there is no stack of documents stored anywhere, and in fact, what used to be Kelly A. F. B. is now a commercial port and civilian aircraft maintenance operation, I think they call it Port of San Antonio on the highway signs.

Is it likely that Navy avionics would have been modified and/or serviced
at Kelly AFB (SAAMA) in about 1950? I'm still chasing my APN-9A.
Thanks,
-John
