[Milsurplus] History of Radar and the EF-50

I loved the ocnclusion:

"The EF50 was, next to the Magnetron, the most important tube from World War II!"

If I am not mistaken, the EF50 may have been used in the i.f,. strips of some early 
British monochrome TV receivers of the 1950s.

Seems like I remember us tearing dumped / broken TVs apart for their parts, including
speakers, pots, 1/2 watt carbon resistors, EF50s, EL37s and the like.
