This system is big--racks of stuff. About 6 years ago, a guy showed up at a local hamfest with a rack of the 640/639 power supplies and acessory stuff with RCAF tags. It sat there all day unsold and he left it there! Hams swarmed over it cannabalizing it for parts right where it sat.
So I admire anyone willing to save one of these. Currently I have the most complete manual set I have ever seen for SCR-575 listed on eBay. It has the truck layouts, generator hookups and all, plus the usual 640 and 639 stuff. If it doesn't sell, I will be glad to send it to anyone who wants it.

Somebody needs this, surely - free to a good home....
Got this info from Sam Stokes:
The JB-45 Junction Box is part of the SCR-566, SCR-575, and SCR-645.
These are all part of the VHF Fighter Control system that we sort of
copied from the British.
As you said, it's an antenna switching device used to switch the antenna back
and forth between the transmitter (Usually a BC-640) and the receiver (Usually
a BC-639)

Rules of Ware apply - Tell me what it is and why you want it ("last
remaining item needed for H2S in my Wellington bomber restoration,
etc.") and for a sufficiently entertaining story and/or worthy cause,
you can have it for the cost of postage. If you just send e-mail
saying "I want it" your chances are severely diminished. If you've
done me a favor in the past you get bonus points.
Act now limited time offer, decision of judges is final, void where
prohibited by law, not for use on pets or children, etc.
