It's great fun, Bry - a lot like fiddling with an old FB-7 or similar
set from back in the day. I've got the RR-2B version, it works
amazingly well with just a pile-o-wire dropped on the floor. Something
about sitting there with the old style headphones listening to signals
crackle through.
One word of warning: depending on the 'phones you use, it's easy to
blast your ears if not careful. I use the Viet Nam-era bakelite/phone
pin type with mine. They produce plenty of audio, and the control
moves very easily.
