Short of use on a museum ship why would anyone want a Collins MBF? Have seen them before and always wondered if this was the radio that would have been supplied to merchant vessels for use in convoys? Have read descriptions of TBY set being used for short range ship to ship communications but considering what a dog the TBY is and that it used batteries cannot see that being a good set for that and the Collins MBF appears to be a better set for talk between ships functions. And before everyone gets insulted and tells me there is plenty of evidence to prove the TBY was used in this role I do understand that it was used but maybe only up to the point where better radios like the Collins were installed on merchant vessels and assuming or full size TBS where installed on the naval vessels. There is a MBF currently listed on that place, item # 140625412601
