[Milsurplus] Ongoing rant and other list, all for the sake of the BC-221

I do not only tolerate diversity of opinions but respect anyone who will stand up for their opinion and be willing to discuss it in this an open forum. The last thing I will be doing is going off to join another list. What a screwed up world it would be if everyone agreed with me. And I do have the greatest respect for the people who have carefully studied and worked on producing flawless copies of original equipment and installations. It is an absolute fact that no one can appreciate where we are today without seeing where we came from and if perfect examples are not preserved that knowledge is lost. I have been on the list for a while now and find the people here to be the best of the best, and believe that the resources on this reflector exceed anything out there; all the others are second rate compared to this list. And no matter how it appears there is no bias against any member, or their practices. There may be different views of what each member thinks but in the end that diversity only serves to make us as a group stronger. At the beginning of my last rant I asked if there was anyone who takes offence to my beating the drum on what I perceive to be the discounting of Ham History and if I should take my drum and go home but no one objected, so with that in mind I would think that this is the list to be on if you want to talk about all aspects of military radio, preservation, history, use and modification. The reader is free to take away whatever they want. But as for me I will be here until asked to leave, and then I will take my drum and go somewhere else.

Maybe we should start one. Didn't know I had a garage full of Sacred
Relics.
