his would be the receiver for an AN/ARN-59 which is the military
signation for the Type 21 ADF.  It's one of the pieces of the COTS
uipment the military purchased from ARC along with the Type 12 stuff.
ong with things like the T-25 and the other Series 40 pieces, this could
 considered 2nd generation postwar equipment since, among other
fferences, it uses more submini tubes instead of minis and loctals.
