Al & all,

Fun indeed!  :^(    The coil boxes have to be removed and even then in  
a couple of cases I've had to resort to breaking  the hot lead off  
with a long pair of forceps leaving the old unit in place and then  
wiring the replacement into an electrically equivalent but reachable  
location.  Also had to remove the xtal filter assembly from the  
chassis to get at  the Micamold buried inside.  The BC-348 is MUCH  
easier to recap.  Been lucky with those small three-unit cans, though.
