They were also sourced in the '84 Fowler contract for landing craft,
five IIRC. Clearly a paperwork SNAFU from not updating the specs, but
valid none-the-less. They were delivered and did make it into service,
albeit briefly. One or two showed up in the piles at St Juliens Creek.
Can't remember how many made it into the DD fleet, but similarly small
numbers.

I wonder how long the URC-32s remained in service? They were a
mid-late 50s item, still showing up into the 80s?
