The paragraph that you quoted said that TCS was used in PT boats and in
Jeeps (and by implication, everything in between). It didn't say that the PT
boats in the Pacific were able to talk to the Jeeps in Germany.
However, TCS in Jeeps were USMC. Not many Marines in Germany during WW-II.
But I'd stop short of saying that there were none. If there were two with
TCS equipped Jeeps (MZ to be specific) then technically there were Jeeps
with TCS in Germany. :-)
