For Jones at least......

In my 1938 Radio Handbook (W. W. Smith), page 497,  I find an   
advertisement for "Jones, Plugs-Sockets and Terminal Panels"

Type 200 and 300 series connectors listed.  Page also states:  "For  
years we have been serving manufacturers on requirements for special  
terminal panels to blue print."
