PT boats, for one, where in aircraft terminology it was both the Command
Set and the Liaison Set. I'm sure you would agree that there is ocean between
Australia and the PI. LCM's were another. Ocean going tugs. Corvettes
probably (I have a number of TCS dual-dynamotor power units with British
markings).
