Hi to the group re item 3 collections
Is there by any chance ws19 equipment specifically the amplifier 19 as this
is the only part of this gear that I am missing?
To install in my jeep almost any condition will be considered.

The link Al sent was to radios of lower frequency coverage.

This one does 30-75.

No picture available, so I want to look at your pictures.

Hi,
I have a large collection of military type radios as well as other.
Among them are two SP-600's, other Hammarlunds and Hallicrafters as
well as a R-390A. A few years ago we moved and now I'm looking at
changing to a different hobby more suitable for grand children. Would
you be interested in buying some (all?) of these "boatanchors"?
I live in Western Canada.
Looking forward to your reply.
Hans

Once again I have ventured into unexplored waters. I've had this R-390 for a
few years but never really got serious about using it until recently. It
seems to function fine with a few exceptions. The "Carrier Meter" stays at
full deflection and the "Antenna Tune" does nothing at all. I'm using the
random wire coax connection not the two pin Twinex type connection. I am
hoping someone here may have dealt with these issues and can point me in the
right direction before I start troubleshooting. One other thought. Is it
normal for the dial calibration signal to be very weak? Mine is there, but
difficult to hear.

Thanks for any assistance. Rick/K5IAR
