For boatanchor stuff.......................
On your list of places to buy and sell, for those who are not already on it,
there is baswaplist at muchstuff.com.
baswaplist has existed about 12 years. In the beginning it was
baswaplist at foothill.net.
It exists only for buy, sell and swap.
It has always required prices for items offered for sale; unless it is
clearly not possible to come up with a market value.
This is a no BS list. No discussions, death notices. tornado warnings, and
most despised, is an apology, particularly an apology for a message that
should not have been posted. The "Subject" of no message should begin with
"Re:"
It is clearly my list. I have removed subscribers for what I may deem as
cause; but, I make no representations of keeping bad people off of the
list. I have never accepted payment for anyone being a subscriber, and have
no plans to do so.
Any messages for administration of the list should go to
soundval at muchstuff.com or rippen at muchstuff.com.
I try not to overly butt into the dealings; however, for myself, I try to
use PayPal as often as practical. That offers protection to both buyers and
sellers.
What can be listed? All tube era gear, parts, paper items (books,
magazines, catalogs), Generally a posting should not be repeated other than
once more in about a week. Postings of swap meets to come, may be posted
twice, but it may not list any unpriced items, unless it is really
impossible to find prices for an item.
.
To subscribe: Using your email address in your heading and the Subject:
"subscribe" (without quote marks)
send it to baswaplist-request at muchstuff.com. No message necessary. No
human is going to read it.
To unsubscribe do the same except say "unsubscribe". See! No BS.
