I don't have the manual down here and handy but I'll say neither. As a
general rule, Navy stuff was always Low-Z (500/600). And as another, the
headphone jack on a receiver like the RDZ would in the normal course of events
only get used by the ET or RM pulling POMSEE, 3M, PMS or whatever they called
it earlier tests. The people actually using the receiver would normally
have been several decks and frames away for the compartment the radio was in.
In the day, audio from the receiver would have run to a Receiver Transfer
Switchboard typically in Radio Central. From there it could be patched to
pretty much anywhere in the ship.
