Or alternatively pull the chassis out of the cabinet and check the FLA on
the dynamotor nameplate. Triple that and add 2 or three amps for the
vibrator supply and the relays. The problem with solid state converters is that
their surge and continuous ratings are typically almost the same. If you
can't come up with a DY-88, a better solution is probably the two 12 volt
batteries John mentioned and a small converter to keep them charged.
