If anyone is interested in a complete TBX-8 with the transceiver, accessory 
 box, correct key, calibrator, AC power supply for the receiver, Dynamotor 
supply  for the transmitter, all connecting cables, antenna in original bag, 
original  wood shelf, boxes and boxes of spare parts, and the original 
manual, all in  excellent condition, contact me off list.

the receiver and the entire  receiver drawing less than 20 mA but the TBX-8 
is a completely different animal.  Also think the TBX-8 used a common 
microphone and not the weird high output  microphone that you needed for the 
earlier TBX radios.

It's been ham-hacked.  An SO-239 has been  installed, and there are empty
screw holes on the front.  The  nomenclature plate has been removed.  No
telling what horrors await on  the inside.

It could be a good parts set, I guess.
