The Flat-Rate boxes can be a pretty good deal and they also cover U.S.
territories where there is a Post Office (and zip code). I used one to
send some tubes and tube sockets to guy out on Guam. Being in a small
town (villages and hamlets are the norm) people have nothing better to
do than pay attention so the postal worker didn't even flinch and sent
the box on it's merry way.
