[Milsurplus] ... plus shipping to Hawaii

Bear in mind, however, USPS shipping to Hawaii isn't any more
expensive than shipping from the US east coast to the US west
coast, zone 8 postage, either case.  Same for Alaska.

The real USPS bargain is shipping between Saipan, Tinian and
Guam and the 50 states.  Compare those rates to the rates UPS
or FedEx would charge to those three destinations.

If this is an opportunity to have a minor rant, it is against sellers
who state "CONUS shipping only."  My definition of CONUS is
the 48 contiguous states.  If the CONUS destination is zone 8
postage rates for the mailer, then the postage costs for Hawaii,
Alaska, Saipan, Tinian, Guam and most APO/FPO addresses
will all be the same.

For that matter, under some unique mailing situations, say for a
San Francico mailer, it is cheaper to mail to APO/FPO AP than
it is to mail from San Franciso to Nevada.
