[Milsurplus] BC-348 coaxial input?

Is there any written evidence of a field or depot modification to install coax connectors like the TCS had? Early production B-36 strategic bombers had ARC-8 installed until they were all replaced with ARC-21 and would speculate that if anywhere you had BC-348 and ART-13 sets with coax that would be the installation. Have lots of B-36 info at home and will look tonight but being that family of radios was designed for unknown Z antenna lines other then noise isolation have to wonder what good it was?  As opposed to a more modern design where you have a radio with a fixed impedance connection that feed a remote antenna tuner with a short connection to the outside of the ship.
