I've studied the picture you provided very closely to glean what details I
can from it. First off, that mounting for the mic & phone jacks and the
volume control look awfully familiar. :-) Anyway, I don't see anything
that even vaguely resembles a rack and the units are pretty close together
which suggests maybe a special mount was made in the hangers using parts
from busticated airplanes and Yankee Ingenuity.

Also, on the side of the modulator tube & transformer cover ... is that a
control of some order? It certainly looks like one but I've been fooled
before by odd things like that. The Rx tuning knob is definitely not ARC
equipment and I can see a few other things that don't look right but I need
to fiddle with the photo some to try to get a better idea of what's there.

At least you have enough docs to scatter. :-(

Repurpose deck space somewhere and hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on it. I
know this doesn't work for daughters but they're special cases anyway. The
next step involves milk crates or something of that order and stack them
open side out. Gather docs as you find them and divide them into rough
categories in the milk crates. Now you have at least an operational level
of organization - not the greatest but one that gives you a starting point.

Also, look around for companies that are remodeling or going out of
business. Office furniture can be had for cheap or free at them including
filing cabs. I got three horizontal filing cabs, a desk and a chair (which
had to be the fanciest and most comfortable office chair I've ever owned)
that came out of a building scheduled for demolition.

Just a thought.

Yes, definitely milk crates. :-D

I'd love to see this - pictures would be wonderful but I won't push my luck
- and add it to my collected collection of fun reference documents.

4125 KC and 4185 KC stick in my mind but that's probably for something else
entirely.

> Oh.... and they make no mention whatever of a VHF set.

Interesting because I think VHF channel D, used in earlier SCR-522s with the
BC-608 for a kind of IFF, was the emergency channel as well.
