I thought that the high HF receivers the Brits used were for tracking
Knickebein.  If they used the Lorenz system, they wouldn't have needed any
auxiliary receivers for tracking the German version.



While the European continent had Lorenz installations, England & the US
didn’t adapt it until after the war and even then not to any great extent.
It was quickly overshadowed by the systems that grew out of the SCS-51.
