The SCR-178 apparently stayed in service at least past 01 July 1942 as I
have had BX-4 Receiver Battery Boxes made on 1943 Orders. I always assumed
they must have been used for Stateside training. Aside from the Phillippines
and maybe the CZ, I don't know of any other instances where they went
overseas.
