[Milsurplus] Bringing up old klystrons

I found a very nice old TS-148 X-band spectrum analyzer and would like to power
it up. It would appear it hasn't been touched i a good 50 years.
The LO is a 2K25 klystron. Do I need to observe any special precautions or
procedures powering this tube up?
On a separate note, I picked up an interesting RF PC board assembly at NEARfest
which has a little SMA amplifier brick which turns out to be a 12 dB gain LNA
for 9-10 GHz. It would be interesting to see if it worked as a front end preamp
for the TS-148! Talk about differences in technology!
I have a TS-147 coming in tomorrow to use as a source...
