Nick, thanks for sending this question to Milsurplus. I'm a member but have
no website for posting pictures.
The tag is a 2"x1" string tag similar to the Avery string tags you can buy
today. It is old, stiff and yellowed. On one side it has "SIGNAL CORPS"
apparently done by a black rubber stamp. On the back are two round stamp
marks. One is black, 3/8" dia and has "SC" with "330F" underneath the SC.
The other is black and probably the dame diameter but the stamping was not
done on a flat surface and may also have the 330F but it's not really clear
enough to read.
So, the tag is not anything like the SC tags I've seen before.
The phenolic board it is mounted on is 15"x9"x1/2" and the coil form is
4"dia by 9" long.
Thanks!
