Wasn't there a pop top 40 hit in the late "60's" or "70's" that had a line: " I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in".

 This reminds me of an old guy who used to trade ham equipment in Tennessee
hen I lived > there. 
  He kept most of it out doors near his shed. Some of it was kept inside
he shed but you can 
 just imagine what happened to the rest. Rigs, accessories and parts were
iled several feet 
 high and exposed to the rain and the humidity and the sunshine on a daily
asis for many 
 weeks or even years. Then they were hauled to hamfests and offered for
ale.
So basically it's equipment I'd like.  NOS/NIB is great for the ARC &
elated equipment but seeing if I can recover other pieces can be
ntertaining as well.  The ones that are beyond redemption, of course,
ecome parts sources or perversion projects.
