Delivery confirmation isn't quite the same as certified mail.
Delivery confirmation is generally a scanner reading the
delivery confirmation label on the mailpiece, which essentially
is a claim the USPS delivered it to the address. It does not
confirm the addressee has the item and someone signed for it.
