Hi,
This is from the ArmyRadios Group on Yahoo. Two of the tems (the Gensets)
are pretty rare, IMO, and deserve a wider exposure.
If you are interested, please contact Carla directly.
Best,
-John

Hi, John,
I should have done a better description of that Kohler genset........its
rated for 800 Watts power output, (and, allegedly, its a nominal 1KW
unit which was de-rated for some specific continuous-duty
operation.......I say 'allegedly' as there was a 'thread' about these in
the old engine collectors internet site, some time ago, and someone said
that was info from an old manual), but it runs at the common 60 cycles AC.
I've seen some 400Hz AC gensets, but never any for 800Hz.........fact
is, I didn't know that any 800Hz gensets were ever built.......what sort
of equipment would use 800 cycle power?
Yes, if you'd like to pass my info along to that board, thank
you..............as I said, this gear really needs to find good
homes........ : )
...
cheers
Carla
