[Milsurplus] Navy Blinker-Light Key

Dale, Kw1I had provided me this link.  I was asking where the key was used
as I purchased one. Rather surprised it was tied t a signal lamp.

They were made for both purposes, as I have several of each. I initially
thought they were just Navy keys to begin with, as they are pretty common.
However, then I started running across the same key with the different
finger skirt, marked as the key on eBay that Dave pointed out. They are not
as common as the regular 26003s, but, they are far from even scarce. 73 -

To my humble opinion, that is a current flame proof radio telegraph
To my humble knowledge, that is a current (flame proof) radio
telegraph key. I have one of those marked CTE-26003A at my
collection.It is an excellent smooth key for sending good
Morse code over radio, but nothing to do with the big Scott
curtain lamps for sending visual code at the Navy, where the
code blinking was machanically made opening and closing the
curtain.
