[Milsurplus] Seeking info on APN 9A, (not R65A APN 9)

Anyone seen an APN 9A Loran A rcvr-indicator? I saw the manual once, with actual photos and schematics. Looks like an APN 9 but front panel has rotary decade switches for setting TDs. Schematic showed tube flip flops configured as decade dividers. 

I've corresponded with a few 60s era USAF navigators who used APN 9s, but have never run into anyone else who has seen the APN 9A manual or the set. 

Every so often I post seeking info in the hopes that someone will recall this unique Loran A set.
