I got to poke around and take some photos in an ex FAA DC-6 last summer.
It was wired for sound. It had a couple of 3PH 400 cycle motor gennys in
the back, a 115vac 60 cycle inverter system & buss, a 115vac 400 cycle
buss as well as 24vdc & 50vdc buss. There was also a 115vac 400 HZ UPS.
Lots of Collins nav equipment and a test/work bench in the middle of the
plane. Don't know what happened to it as it was slated for aluminum foil
production but they might have found a buyer. I did get the Collins
618T3 and 180L3 out of it though.
