I have an AB-577 as well.  I'm debating on using it or getting about 60' of 
Rohn tower.  My concern is strong winds.  I have some huge earth anchors, 
about 24" that can be put down four to five feet feet, far better than the 
18" stakes the manual says to bang into the ground for a 50-75 foot tower 
with microwave horns on top!  I've bought several center guy-rings, enough 
to guy every other section, but I am concerned about the clamps.  We have 
winds here to around sixty miles per hour, not uncommon on a windy day and 
the occasional microburst that excedes 165.  Not sure the clamps wouldn't 
pop off.
