[Milsurplus] homes for vintage mil test gear?

Hi gang -- my www.navy-radio.com site periodically attracts e-mail
from folks with a 1950's era Navy scope or VTVM wanting to give it a
good home or know if it is worth much. Given human beings' propensity
to collect vintage bottle caps, insulators, etc., there probably is
some group that revels in USM-24's, ME-6's and the like. Any leads as
to where I should point inquirers seeking to dispose of such beasts?

Or maybe some museum ships might like this stuff to outfit a shop?
Could we convince some audiophiles that USM-24 scopes are as valuable
as TV-10 tube testers?
