[Milsurplus] Utterly OT: Weird Snow

In the 50's we made a treat called snow cream with clean snow. 
Evaporated milk with sugar and vanilla, and banana slices if you had 
them, stirred in with fresh fallen snow.  The scare about fallout came 
for us in the early 60's. Later, we made slushies the same way with 
KoolAde mix and sugar. In those days, no one  throw them at nerds!
